Join us for a one-hour virtual information session about UCF’s exciting new Master of Science in Health Promotion and Behavioral Science. This exciting new program prepares students with the education and experience necessary for a career to help individuals and communities maintain and maximize healthy lifestyles. Students will be trained to translate scientific research into evidence-based practice and to design and implement innovative health education and promotional programs aimed at reducing the risk of chronic disease and its associated impacts. Students also gain skills in cognitive behavioral modification, health coaching, and health communications. Sessions will be hosted by faculty in the Department of Health Sciences and will cover the curriculum, learning outcomes, program format, career options, and the application and admission process. Sessions will take place via Zoom and will provide the opportunity for Q&A.
